I can not afford to buy an expensive Apple. I have friends that swear by them, but I do not like them. It looks like nobody on here has one either since I am the first post about Apple. ;)

I never even heard of apple until the Ipods came out. I am in the same boat as you tomR. Lots of my friends have them now but didn't before Ipods.

Every Mac I have ever had was a used one. I can never afford the current generation equipment. To begin with I could not afford the second generation equipment but now that prices are more reasonable I can. I am pretty happy second generation equipment too. There is really nothing that I need right now that is current generation. I will wait for second generation IPads and that is about the only apple product I am interested in now. I have an IPod Touch and love it for a music player. It is a step up from my Rio S10 that I bought in college before the IPod was available.

What Apple products are you interested in?
