If you know what you are looking for it still might not be obvious. The criminal are getting very good at mimicking what ATMs look like and the hardware used in the skimmers are getting smaller and harder to detect. I personally avoid ATMs because of these little devices but when traveling it is very hard not to use one if you are in need of cash. I suggest you take a look at the pictures carefully and be mindful when using the ATM for such skimmers.
