Where’s the Future? Will Ferrell’s Tour of Tech That Never Took

Will Ferrell takes a humorous look at some technologies that have not quiet caught on. Hover boards is the most urgent one in my opinion. You could eliminate lots of cars if we were all traveling on hover boards. There are several serious technology endeavors that will really benefit mankind if we can ever figure out how to do it and then do it safely.

As a side note Jet packs/Rocketbelts are a reality already they have been used several times in movies and testing of real working prototypes. I believe that the Rose bowl parade featured one in recent years, here is the video.

Runic Games Studio just announce Torchlight II to be out sometime in the first quarter of 2011. The main goal of Torchlight II is to add co-op play and expand the story of Torchlight. * Retirement System – Once characters are sufficiently leveled up, they can “retire” and bestow specific benefits and perks onto new characters.

* Fishing – Fishing returns in the sequel! Players can take a break from the high-energy pace of adventuring to relax by one of the many fishing holes and see what they can catch. Fish have unique benefits for the player and pet, while a number of other rewards can also be discovered.
