Fish birth Timeline

I moved a female convict chiclid from my 20 gallon tank into my 55 gallon tank on September 28th 2008. She layed eggs on the September 30 or October 1st 2008. The eggs hatched on the 5th of October 2008. These fish do not mess around they wasted not time. The parents are very protective of the babies too. I will add pictures of them on here soon. I have pics of the eggs and of them hatched. It is fun watching them grow. The grow so fast when they are little.

Turkey Run State Park Camping Trip

We got a bit of bad weather. Here is what happened.

I wish my camera had sound, the tree makes a really loud crack when I shake. It came about 6 feet from hitting our neighbors camper. They left soon after.

157 JEFF WHETSTONE INDIANAPOLIS IN M 24 07:21 22:51.5

I was expecting a pace of about 8 mins a mile and closer to a 24 minute finish time. I exceeded my expectations by over 30 seconds a mile. I think it was because of all the rain. I will update you on my Mini-Marathon results in two weeks.

Mac Classic II

I fired my Mac Classic II up tonight. It has a whole 10MB of hard drive space with 4MB of ram to power the beast. It is running OS 7.1.1. That is really an amazing machine. It has Microsoft works which seems to run faster then Microsoft word on my current PC for a word processor. The whole all in one design is really nice too. There is one power plug for the back of the machine instead of a power cable for the machine and the monitor.

There is one power plug for the back of the machine instead of a power cable for the machine and the monitor. There is one Apple Bus plug for the keyboard and the one button mouse plugs into the keyboard so it has a shorter cord and only one cord connected to the back of the machine. I set this up on my desk and it makes my desk look so much better without all the clutter of wires and big bulky cases needed for the pc tower. Sometimes I wish I would not have turned my Macintosh Plus into a fish tank and then other times I am glad. Computers have really come a long way since the Mac Classic II.

Long time no post.

I just recently moved to a new apartment in Indy. I just got my internet back last nite. I will try to update as soon as possible. I would like to add some stuff and make some more content for you all.

The best way to celebrate the 4th of July

I celebrated the 4th of July by going bird watching. I went to see the most appropriate bird for the day, The American Bald Eagle. I was lucky enough to see three of them. Two young ones who are brown until they reach 4 years old. Bald Eagles at the age of 4 obtain the bold white head and tail that gives them a distinct look which makes them recognizable. Here are my pictures from the excursion.
