I think that some game play better with lower end graphics but higher frame rates because of the smooth action on screen. Unreal tournament did a Game of the Year edition did a great job of high frame rate smooth movement. I remember loading the game up and getting 60+ fps. On my current computer it get 100-200 fps no problem. The game play is awesome, the movement is fluid and you do not miss a beat.
